An insightful day of talks at Pro Driver Congress London
Technology, data and safety were the hot topics of the day at Pro Driver Congress London.
Now in its second year, the Pro Driver Congress focuses on the threats and opportunities that face London based private hire and chauffeur operators.
Speaking as part of a panel on Disruptive Technology, Commercial Director Daniel Price discussed how crucial the private hire network are to Cabfind’s successful service delivery.
“Technology is clearly driving the industry forward, however when analysing our own data, it is clear our customers value the ability to pick up the phone and speak to someone. People are a key part of this industry, our customers appreciate being able to interact at any time about their journey.”
Safety was also a key element discussed by the panel, a key component where technology can only offer so much. On the topic of safety, Daniel commented, “Cabfind provides a different level of service as we own the journey for the customer. This becomes important as we share the duty of care of our business travelers to ensure they are transported safely.”
Alongside Daniel’s speaking appointment, Cabfind supported the event with a booth presence. Cabfind’s supplier relations team including Richard Moseley, Head of Supplier Relations, and Ian Waterhouse, Supplier Relations Manager were in attendance to speak to existing suppliers on Cabfind’s network and meet some new faces.
