Cabfind launches strategic partnership with iCabbi to strengthen supply chain connectivity

Cabfind – the UK’s leading managed taxi service – has created a strategic partnership with dispatch specialists iCabbi to enhance its supplier and client connectivity.

The integration will create seamless, automated end-to-end booking processes delivering a wide range of benefits including journey visibility, reduced costs, administration efficiencies and data rich reporting.

iCabbi is a market-leading, cloud based dispatch system that will integrate directly into Cabfind’s online booking platform enabling ground transportation requirements to be connected directly to the relevant driver.

Cabfind’s supplier network includes more than 2,300 vehicle providers with a combined fleet of over 160,000 vehicles.

Automated booking processes through iCabbi will help reduce time-intensive activity and create operational efficiencies.

Existing suppliers already using iCabbi will be swiftly migrated onto the system and it will also open up new opportunities for other taxi companies currently integrated with iCabbi, to work with Cabfind.

The strategic partnership will also deliver a range of benefits to Cabfind’s client base including real time reporting tools identifying on-time arrivals, journey times and mileage as well provide real-time itineraries to meet duty of care requirements.

The strategic partnership has been announced as preparations for the launch of Cabfind’s innovative new technology platform also get underway.

Richard Moseley, Head of Supplier Relations at Cabfind, said he was delighted to announce the strategic partnership with iCabbi and welcomed the clear synergy between the two companies.

“The mobility sector is advancing at an impressive rate and we are extremely pleased to be working with a like-mind company that understands the needs of a rapidly changing market place.

“Working more efficiently with our supply chain brings significant benefits to our customers, giving them a much clearer and accurate picture of their ground transportation needs.

“With our suppliers’ commitment to on-time journey arrivals, it will help change the way people think about taxi travel and clearly demonstrate the industry’s commitment to delivering innovation by working smarter and more efficiently.”

Niall Prenty, Business Development Director at iCabbi, said: “We are extremely pleased to be working with the team at Cabfind – the strategic partnership reflects both organisations’ deep rooted understanding of the ground transportation sector and how technical innovation is driving change at an unprecedented pace.

“Customers now expect a great end-to-end travel experience and at iCabbi we are playing our part with an open API (Application Programming Interface) supported platform that helps connect Cabfind customers and iCabbi’s taxi fleets seamlessly.”
